The City Council of Wattens, as well as the neighboring church of St. Lawrence, is one of the finest works of the municipality. Not without reason, the view from the west on these two architectural masterpieces is one of the most photographed perspectives of the place. The town hall was built in 1954 and hosts the entire municipality. On the ground floor there is a beautiful wedding hall with a crystal sparkling lights ceiling, on the first floor are the offices of the mayor, and on the second floor is the prestigious boardroom. Portraits of Wattens freeman surround the staircase. Lovingly maintained flower gardens give the Town Hall a perfect frame.
